Bitcoin Diamond
In the BitcoinDiamond v1.2.0 test version, intelligent dynamic rate estimation was added, support for bech32 address was added, getinfo command was abandoned, and SSE4 optimized SHA256 was added.
Network connection and stability were optimized, database format was modified.
BCD Wallet App
Docking between the wallet core library and user interface is complete. The wallet now includes the following features:
- Billing details displayed
- Verification process to determine whether the imported private key is correct
- Increased page render speed
- Improved user experience and user interface
- Home page refresh function
- Improved process to initiate transactions, enabling users to reconfirm transactions
Lightning Network
Development of the Bitcoin Diamond Lightning Network GO Language application is underway. This will allow analysis of BCD blocks and transactions and basic Lightning Network functions.

The new website includes video introductions, one-click BCD links, and BCD Bazaar. The website also features a brand new interface and more sophisticated functionality to align with BCD’s redefined vision.
BCD Bazaar launched through a partnership between the Bitcoin Diamond Foundation and Shopping Cart Elite
BCD Bazaar is the first online e-commerce store that exclusively accepts cryptocurrency payments. While payment platform limitations restrict many retailers to offer their products only to a limited number of countries, BCD Bazaar gives customers around the world access to a wide range of products from top online marketplaces. On this brand new online marketplace, any item can be purchased using Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) or Bitcoin (BTC). Bitcoin Diamond listed on Changelly
Now with Changelly, a Bitcoin and altcoin exchange with more than 2 million registered users, people can buy BCD directly using their credit card or other currencies supported by Changelly or CoinMarketCap. Changelly users can also shift between different coins without having to deposit them to the exchange.

THEMIS crowned winner in the Bitcoin Diamond Ecology Construction Competition
BCD’s Ecology Construction Competition is an annual competition for indie DAPP developers, blockchain developers, and anyone interested in BCD future development. First prize was awarded to THEMIS, a group which constructed a fair, blockchain-based exchange system which supports cross-chain exchange between BCD and other digital assets.
Hardware wallet LUBANSO X1 announces support for BCD
LUBANSO, China’s top blockchain security equipment manufacturer, announced that their new X1 hardware wallet would include support for BTC, BCD, ETH, and five other cryptocurrencies. The wallet was designed by technologist Fu Dong and the wallet’s security operations are performed by financial SE chips, providing a safe storage solution for digital assets.
